Ryanair to fly 11 million passengers over festive season | News


Ryanair has uncovered it will have about 11 million buyers this Xmas, breaking past year’s report traffic by ten for every cent.

December 20th was the airline’s busiest day of the festive season, with an approximated 500,000 customers travelling on a lot more than 2,500 flights.

The very last flight on Xmas Eve landed at 20:55, with no flights on Xmas Working day (the only working day in the calendar when Ryanair does not fly), before products and services resume on December 26th.

Ryanair confirmed that its most common ‘flying home for Christmas’ routes include Portugal, Morocco, Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Poland, whilst report numbers will jet off to Spain and Italy for Xmas in the sunlight, with Austria, Italy and Switzerland ski routes also booking rapid for both Xmas and New Yr.

Ryanair spokesperson, Alejandra Ruiz, stated: “We are happy to fly far more than 11 million men and women this Christmas season, the two dwelling to their people and buddies, and on vacations to the wintertime sun and ski hotspots throughout Europe.”

Ryanair relatively generously counts the time period from December 11th till January 8th as the ‘festive season’.
